The jacket is very light, easy to pack and easy to maintain. The hood with a reinforced visor and drawstring is spacious enough to fit on a helmet. A perforated insert in the collar together with ventilation zippers in the armpits improve microventilation. The jacket offers two zipper pockets with waterproof zippers, a sleeve pocket for the ski pass and a removable snow protection collar inside the jacket. The hems of the sleeves can be tightened with Velcro fasteners and the bottom hem of the jacket with an elastic band with a drawstring.
